The elevator is very inconvenient at the station. It is located all the way at the end of the tracks. Hard for families with a stroller that needs an elevator to transfer between floors.

Bit away from JR Nara station and much closer to where you want to be. Bullet train doesn't stop in Nara so you need to come from elsewhere if you are coming in on bullet train from Tokyo

近鉄奈良駅は奈良県内で唯一の地下駅でありホームは頭端式の4面4線、有効長は1・2番のりばが10両、3番のりばが8両、4番のりばが6両。改札は東西双方。JR奈良駅よりも中心市街地に位置していて事実上、奈良県の県都・奈良市の中心駅である。利用者が多いのはJRではなくこちら。

駅構内は、公衆無線LANスポットサービス『FREESPOT』が使えます。「CAFFE CIAO PRESSO（カフェチャオプレッソ）」から飛んできているのかな？でも、ホームに降りたらwifineにつながってしまいます。

1914年開業、近鉄奈良線の終着駅で、京都や大阪難波、神戸三宮への列車が発着。土産物屋や飲食店も充実。Est-1914. Terminal Station of Kintetsu Nara Line. You can go to Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe from here. There are various souvenir shop and restaurant.

1914年04月30日奈良(駅) として開業。その後何度か改称し、1970年03月01日に近鉄奈良に改称。奈良線の起点の布施から26.7km。

5階について。昔あった「奈良歴史教室」の展示品が今も残っているとの情報ですが、エレベーターが停止不可階。ビル1階の観光案内所にお尋ねしたところ、テナントのクラブツーリズムさん休業日はそもそも5階に入れない、また2月に案内所の方が5階へ行かれた際、大仏の手は見られたが十二神将エリアは立ち入り不可だったとのことです。（2022年3月6日（日）時点）

いわゆる観光地に近いのはJRではなく近鉄奈良駅。改札を出るとたくさんのおみやげ屋さんがあるので、買い忘れたらここでOK。大仏プリンもココ。せんとくんもげんきですよ。

近畿日本鉄道奈良線の鉄道駅。プラットホームそのものは地下にある。JRの奈良駅とは結構離れています。いわゆる奈良の観光地…東大寺などへは、近鉄奈良駅が近いです。硬券入場券の発売あり。

けいりんどう書店側から出てきた先に高貝商店というお店があるが、夏場はそこで手作りアイスを売っている。とてもおいしいのでもし観光で奈良に来たなら寄ってみて欲しい

近鉄奈良線東側終着駅。JR奈良駅とは400m程距離がある。地下駅で京都、西大寺、大阪難波、神戸三宮方面にいく。伊勢志摩方面は西大寺で乗り換え。
