I visited the suburb of St Kilda where there are cafes, restaurants and shops. A good place to take a good coffee and enjoy the scenery, walking along the coast - Gustavo (Brazil)
Great rooms, friendly staff, no noise at night. Cons: no free wifi, close kitchen at 11:00, small tvlounges in every floor, $2 to store your bags. Good place to stay, I will in the future
Bertha Brown's underneath the hostel had a FREE pizza on the first night - great pizza - full size not just a slice. Also Pizza any other night $5 each, various toppings. Beer $5 - Victoria (England)
The bathrooms are modern & clean - essential for any hostel in my opinion! Have to pay for wifi though, which is really disappointing. Have stayed in YHAs overseas & free wifi is standard.
Not bad. Paying for wifi is standard in aus/NZ. I've stayed at hostels a lot worse. (this one does not reek of pot, hot water works, easily accessible, no cops out front, curtains close.)
Good localization, near fromeverything, but terrible staff, awfull mattress. Trashy rooms, trashy common kitchen. the wifi connection isnt free and expensive. the worst hostel I've ever been!
