Great homemade pastas - linguini with seafood and spaghetti with meatballs are so good! The cheesecake is so fluffy and the cannoli is so crunchy. Make sure to sit in the outdoor patio!
Get their special that's not even on the, menu--lobster, clams, shrimp soaked in white wine sauce. And tell them it's your birthday. Fresh fruit platter & zeppoles on the house alongside dessert.
Went at the direction of friends. An ok experience. Sit outside on the patio; weather permitting. All these LI restaurants seem to cook out of the same kitchen. Can't discern one from another.
Food is fine and they’re accommodating enough. But don’t arrive in the mid-afternoon when service is slow and the staff are busy watching their iPads. Getting extra parmesan & bread is a chore.
Pretty decent food but the construction noises next to the garden area is quite a spoiler. Also, every table gets a free dessert at the end of your meal.
The pizza was a little dry, the bread wasn't fresh, the 'home-made' tiramisu wasn't as expected. We were forced to give a tip. So far the worst restaurant we had in Manhattan.
Why can't they be smart enough to play Italian music in the garden??? It could be quiet so as not to bother the neighbors. It wud make people drink more and feel like being in Italy
I'm writing this review from the tile floor of my bathroom. Run away! This used to be my favorite restaurant in little Italy but this time was VILE! Veal Parm was animal grade meat! What happened?
Bread upfront is very old. Food is fine, but they charge you for every drink so keep that in mind!! Staff is not that friendly. So my tip: choose another restaurant
Addendum: I wouldn't even feed this to my dog as it would be classified as animal cruelty. Shame on you Da Nico, you should serve your food with a side of pepto and a vomit bag.
Okay... Had chicken parm at this restaurant and a couple hours later got sick not sure it was the food but I noticed the chicken tasted old... Today I'm eating the second half ...if I get sick again
The pizza here is really terrible, at least for italian standards... The tiramisu is good (also if doesn't really look like an italian tiramisu). They also charged a 20% gratuity without asking
