A big bowl @ $6 is full of the goodness of a pig including liver, intestine, kidney etc but they r all tender and not overcooked. The pig trotter in black vinegar is surprisingly decent too.
Been eating this ever since my childhood days, of course, the boss has already retired(taste best during his time), but still this place is one the best pigorgan's soup in SG.
Love the braised ground nuts and pig trotter vinegar is good too. Love the soup and you can ask for top-up. Chili sauce is also very tok gong... Hot!!!!
While it may seem very chaotic, the system is very simple: 1) find a table, 2) order at counter, 3) wait for them to send the soup to you and pay. Chilli is shiokshiok and complements the ingredients
Did u know? “make no bones about it” originated from 15th century England. Finding bones in one’s soup is unpleasant, & came to mean finding something objectionable. Source: Grammarist
I feel the pig's trotters doesn't have the taste of the vinegar sauce even though it is tender. However, the steamed meat with salted fish is excellent!
frequented this place since my childhood days (when pigs' blood is part of the soup). Definitely not as good as those good old days, but still my fave. ;)
Pork leg vinegar is quite nice here just $5 a bowl. Pigorgansoup is fine bit salty. Meatball is gd. They hav a couple of steam meat stuffs. They open from 9am - 5am. Closed on monday.
