A pretty decent beef rendang. My Singaporean friend took me as it's her go to for comfort food. Very reasonably priced, they also have teh tarik, samba, and good laksa. I'd definitely come back
Upstairs and downstairs seating. Gets busy. Go the roti canai and tangyAssam fish curry = yum in your tum. Beware - the soya milk is freshly made so has a strong bean taste which some may not like.
This place was packed. The portions are very generous. I had the chili crab and it was MASSIVE! Very tasty and really messy. Don't order it if you're having a business meeting or are on a date ;)
Nasi lemak, mee goreng, deep fried chicken wings, chicken satay, beef rendang, eggprawns. It's all good. However the prices are too expensive. There is no single main dish under £10.
If you're a fan of morning glory (behave!) be prepared to pay the price! My friends adored the roti here and the chicken dishes are big and filling. Food comes out as its ready.
If you're craving noodles, do not order the SatayBee Hoon ("special of the week"). It's just a plate of vermicelli noodlesswimming in sweet satay sauce with hardly any seafood in it.
The cendol has tooooo much gula Melaka it overpowers everything else :( but the sagogula Melaka is great because of the balance of tasteless sago and sweet gula ^^
Had the pandanpancake for desert. It was small and I was unimpressed by the flavour. I've uploaded a photo of it. It looks different to the pic in the menu.
As this kitchen produces utterly delicious and great valueMalaysian cuisine, it is also capable of serving up some shamefully ersatz rubbish. Metro gave it 2 out of 5 Stars. Read more
Their food is in no way Malaysian. Terrible crap we won't put into our mouth! Who on earth soaks the chicken in a plate filled with soy sauce! Disgusting food.
