    Going to see War Horse it's a magical venue also great art although some of the modern art is a bit hard to understand

    Try the stem ginger ice cream, as recommended by Susie Blake (Coronation Street, Wicked) and definitely eat in the Restaurant. Better than most on the Quays IMHO!

    Music fans should take a trip to The Lowry at The Quays to see the Peter Blake & Pop Music exhibition. Sir Peter Blake also known as the godfather of Pop Art.

    The Heretic by Richard Bean in the Quays Theatre was excellent. Dark humour, sharp writing and a superb cast. Cracking!

    If you're going to a show and parking in the main carpark, park on the lower levels othewise you'll be stuck for ages trying to get out

    If seeing a show, DON'T get Coke (etc) from the concession stand, it's £1.80 there, wheras the vending machines in the same building are £1.50. To be honest, you'd be better taking your own
