Fantastic service and beautiful hotel. Spamassage was fantastic (ask for Emin). Wow, so relaxed. Remingtonbar had delicious food and drinks. Made me a scrumptious grasshopper. Yum!!
As a semi-resident here, I can vouch for the outstanding service levels, consistently-high room standards, and wonderful food in the bar/restaurant. This season's best dish is the seared halibut.

Coffee in the mornings right by the elevator, on the lobby floor. But you're hidden from the actual lobby so you can slip down in your robe and only be seen by other disheveled guests.
If Starwood platinum, make sure to get your breakfast amenity instead of points. Absolutely worth it. Also that amenity can be used every night so don't lose that card.
Caroline Hunt spent a reported $60 million when she built the hotel, called the Remington, in 1982. A bit of the Hunt history endures since the bar carries that name.
The food is awesome. For room service I suggest the Breakfast Burrito, Chicken Panini, Braised Shortribs and Apple Cobbler. Also, High Tea can be served in you room if you so desire.
