Delicious food. Try the combo plate if U want to try a little of everything. Tamale, puffy taco & enchilada. Try beef fajita in your enchilada & puffy taco. Great breakfast spot. Can get busy, call in
Hidden away next to I-35, Amaya's is one of North Austin's best bets for tacos and Tex Mex. Their far south location is coming to Southpark Meadows this spring. [Eater 38 Member]
This place never disappoints with generous portions of Mexican food at a good price. First time here? Get their taco plate, the fried corn tortilla shells are huge and amazing.
My FAVORITE Taco-centric Tex/Mex place in Austin. The staff is great and really friendly, the people are awesome, the atmosphere is amazing, and the food -- it's to die for.
Breakfast on weekends is served until 1. Had two breakfast tacos and they were perfect. Cheap and tasty. Looking for a quick bite this place is awesome!
Chips and salsa were excellent and charro beans were up there with the best I've had. The taco, not so much. Mushy school cafeteria "meat". The enchilada was cheese and covered in a bland sauce.
Recipe for the best experience... • Ask for Luis • Get the Mexican plate (substitute the ground beef with fajita meat and ask for corn tortillas) • Get a Margarita or Long Island iced tea • Click ❤
The tacos are fresh and quite delicious! This is not the place where you want to be strong and hold off on chips and salsa...it is all too good to miss out on!
The food here is really good but the service is horrible. No sense of urgency and you have to wait 30 min for your food.. which is sad bc the food is great. Don’t bother complaining..
