Nice bar considering the neighborhood. Bangers and mash are excellent. Some what elderly crowd but still a nice place to stop in for lunch and some sports broadcast at the bar. Enjoy!
I had the fish n chips along with the LandmarkAle. I highly recommend BOTH! And the fries with garlic mayo too! Such a great atmosphere away from the chaos and crowds of times square.

End your day of Intrepid history, heroism & hands-on fun with an equally historic meal at Landmark. Open since 1868, Landmark Tavern is one of the oldest continually operating establishments in NYC.
Good food, good beer, good service. Everything great. Don't be confused by the many people standing around. You can sit and enjoy your meal there very well.
Landmark Tavern opened in 1868 under the ownership of Patrick Henry Carley. At this time, the bar doubled as a pub and as Carley's family home until it was converted to a speakeasy during Prohibition.
The Tavern opened in 1868 and is said to be haunted by a Confederate Civil War veteran who, knifed in a fight, staggered up to the second floor to die in a bathtub that’s still there.
Great for something hot to eat on a cold day, especially after visiting the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum! Get the chicken pot pie and a draft beer!
Bangers & Mash is tasty and presented well. Wings are crisp, mild and not breaded (we hate breadedwings). Beer selection so-so, whiskey selection very nice.
