- Julie K. H.March 13, 2013Loved my walk today to the market. A feast for my senses after yesterday. Picked up maple syrup spread and syrup, mackerel to grill tonight, a sack of apples, yogurts, cider donuts, lavender sachets.

- The flagship Greenmarket in NYC. There are all the produces, dairy, meet, flower, and baked good vendors you could ever want. Get there early on Saturday to avoid the huge crowds.
- It's here all of the time and has basically everything, including tasty bread and cheese spots that are cheaper than going to a store. Stop in!
- Fresh, free range organic eggs, mushrooms from the mushroom stand, maple candy and whatever produce is beckoning (the last summer tomatoes this week) always top my "must buy," list on Saturdays.

- Prices are somewhat high, but it's veggies galore! Fruit is also very good too (blueberries, strawberries), and don't forget to try the honey.
