First things first, stop at the Visitor's Center to get a map. Then, hike to the four waterfalls. Whiskeytown Falls is spectacular! The hike was so much fun and definitely worth it.
They've closed this school and have excepted a charter schools bid to use the property. So sad Verde vale was a great school and will be missed.
The kids love the water volcano and its a nice fun family spot that doesn't cost anything.
