Also, it has a nice vintage design. Not to mention an inexpensive menu for a fine dining restaurant with a great location. Try 'Nasi Tus Tus' for main course & Cheese Pannekoek (pancake) for dessert.
It was pretty impressive when the restaurant manager went around to offer service! I also appreciate the effort in combining Manadonese & Italian menus. It left a lot of rooms for improvement though.
A nice legendary Chinese food restaurant in Manado. I mostly have it as takeaway instead of eating there. Butter chicken and Cap Cay are long time favorites! Their service is pretty fast too!
One of the most favorite restaurants in Manado to buy 'Nasi Kuning' - traditional yellow rice. It's quite old but still going strong. Make sure they separate the chilly if you don't like spicy food!
The location is nice (on top of a hill near downtown). My favorites are Chicken Cordon Bleu for main course & Apple Pie with Vanilla ice cream for dessert. Stay away from the Tiramisu!!

A favorite for delicious local fried chicken in Manado. Unlike fast food chains that use 'ayam daging', this place use 'ayam kampung' - smaller but richer in taste. The avocado juice is yummy too!
It's got outdoor space right above a busy street with good buffet options. I'd go with a la carte. My set: Corn soup, Pasta, Creme brûlée and a glass of hot Cappuccino.
