S Fläckberg: Nice, boreal park with a large collection of local animals. Big focus on the nordic Big 4 (wolf, wolverine, lynx, bear). All exhibits lies along a 3 km long wooden duck-board, snaking among the woods.
S Fläckberg: Located on the mountain Grönklitt. Apart from their main thing – all sorts of bears – they also keep siberian tigers and leopards. Their polar bear exhibit, opened in '09, is the largest in the world.
S Fläckberg: This is the ultimate family resort; amusement park, water park and zoo combined. The latter has a strong focus on primates, and is actively engaged in research and conservation projects for these.

S Fläckberg: As for the zoo part; if you're looking for exotic animals, you're in the wrong place. Mostly domestics, bears and so on. Still worth a visit though, as it's a lovely park.
S Fläckberg: Feel to switch up from the farm animals at Skansen? In here you'll find exotic reptiles, monkeys and fish from the entire globe. Go there first though, as they close earlier than the rest of the park.
S Fläckberg: Kolmården is the largest zoo in the Nordics. The park features a dolphinarium, safari park (since '11 on an aerial railway) and over 80 species of wild animals. A must-visit!
S Fläckberg: Nordens Ark (The Ark of the Nordics) is as much a breeding facility as a zoo, with endangered species from around the world. Due to their well-being, all enclosures are huge. So bring your binoculars!

S Fläckberg: Located in the park is a small zoo, with elks, seals, penguins and a collection of farm animals. The exhibits are part of the park, rather than a confined park-in-the-park, so there's no entrance fee.
