Dave BurchOctober 3, 2012Outer Darkness is a great stout, and since it's in the bottle (In UT only bottles can exceed 4%), has a kick to it. BONUS POINTS that "outer darkness" is hell in Mormon parlance.
Love this place. I come here whenever I'm laid over in SLC. Tatonka sandwich is great! I'll get it even if I'm not hungry; and take it with me for the plane ride.
The wings are outstanding. Not too boney, not too meaty, and the sauce is moderately hot and tangy. Perfect!
Attn all non-Utahns: the beer on tap can in fact exceed 3.0% abv up to 4.0% abv. And don't assume that it's not good. A lot of excellent beer outside of Utah has similar levels.
Usually a bit too crowded, even for an airport venue. Watch out for uncomfortable seats. However, you will be rewarded with some great beers.

This may be obvious, but an airport in the middle of the country is not the best place to order fish tacos. I have never had a good outcome with the wasabi fish tacos.

If you like Black and Tan, ask for a Black and Cream, Capt Bastard Oatmeal Stout and Nitro Cream Ale, very smooth!

I don't know if it is because of the low alcohol content or what, but that Utah beer is awesome!!
