1. Post Espresso
Wesley Hodgson: Best espresso in St. John's. The space is beautiful, the staff is cute/friendly, the wifi is fast. What more could you want?
2. Lighthouse Picnics
Wesley Hodgson: It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. Bring a sweater!
3. Signal Hill
Wesley Hodgson: The obvious tourist spot with sweeping views of all of St. John's, plus the ocean. Great hiking, too!
4. Rocket Bakery
Wesley Hodgson: Amazing place to grab lunch on the go. Their coffee is pretty great, too.
5. India Gate
Wesley Hodgson: Oh the pappadams and carrot chutney! Om nom nom!
6. Yellowbelly Brewery and Public House
Wesley Hodgson: Great beer and good pub grub. The Yellowbelly Burger is amazing, as are their fries.
7. Rennie's River Walking Trail
Wesley Hodgson: One of my favorite places for a casual stroll in the city.
8. By The Beach
9. Fred's Records
Wesley Hodgson: I love the listening stations. Always packed with great stuff. The employees have all the knowledge of an independent record store worker, without any of the attitude.
10. Gracie Joe’s Cafe
Wesley Hodgson: Breakfast poutine!
11. Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters
Wesley Hodgson: Chicken fingers and taters. They still taste just as good as when I was a kid. Too bad the prices aren't the same!
