InterContinental Manila, though the oldest hotel is one of those which has preserved its standards and amenities. Very nice swimming pool and lobby.
The scones in the high tea are no good. But since they recognised that they were kind enough to comp the entire cost of the high tea! :-)

Best alterntive to the usual coffee joint. A more relaxed & less busy venue to just hang out. Plus I like how their coffee isn't as watered down.

Go there early. There's only one cinema for each show most of the time and it gets full fast.
There's a food court below the Cinemas, so if you get hungry don't be lazy and go down the escalator for cheaper food and a full set meal.

Best CBTL branch in town. Polite staff, clean restroom, and ultra hi-speed wi-fi via Swirl Card! The beautiful garden view outside is a bonus! Perfect place to chill during rainy afternoons. xD
