Fu Han: Great, knowledgeable bartenders! Try the Pisco Sour! Also, walking distance from an intimate restaurant, Itasoba Kaoriya, which had an amazing communal table-style dining experience and Soba.
Jon: great hipster bar
Marissa: Because it's the most ridiculous show you'll ever see ... The food is awful so eat before or after somewhere decent
Jay: It's Japan, see this!
Jon: this is an odd and fun experience.
Marissa: Wander the many tiny bars ... Spent many hours in a Spanish themed one talking to the owner, eating random dried seafood snacks and drinking whiskey. Can't miss!
Jay: Tons of tiny bars, and you can spend multiple nights just wandering down 4 streets
Jon: obligatory
Jay: Chef Yasuda lived in NYC for a long time. He spent the entire meal explaining all his dishes and it was seriously the best meal I've ever had
Jon: if you're in for a fancy night, this one is a great bar seat to reserve with an english speaking awesome sushi chef
Eric: It will be hard to get a table here but have someone who speaks Japanese call ahead to get a reservation. Seriously it'll blow your mind Japanese farm-to-table, not touristy, under the radar, amazing
Eric: Baller coffee shop / chill bar with Norwegian-meets-Japanese design in a back alley near the Yoyogen train stop. Definitely a do-not-miss if you're in Shibuya, about a 10-minute walk from the scramble crossing.
4SQ SU Japan
qwertney: You need to try the chicken ramen here. it will ruin ramen for you forever with its goodness. this place has two locations, one inside the metro, which may be faster.
Jon: they have two locations. the ramen is insane.
Tracey: seriously the best pizza i've ever had. it was so good i went twice
Jon: anthony bourdain said this was thebest pizza in the world, and i pretty much agree
Jon: if you can make it for a game, this is super fun. there is a tourist place right outside harajuku station that will book tickets for free for you.
Jon: this conveyor belt sushi in shibuya is amazing and insanely cheap. plus the experience is great. we went like six times while we were there. the line goes very fast. i'd suggest this perhaps as your first meal in tokyo.
Katy: In Roppongi hill, the top of the top has great art exhibitions and incredible views of the city
