2:00 pm: You've skied through lunch and your legs are thrashed. Relax in the sun at East Peak Lodge's sea of adirondack chairs. Great people watching.
From the tram you can access East Bowl Woods - some of Heavenly's best hidden spots. Also known as Avi Bowl and located on the lower CA side near the Tram, this is steep, wide-spaced tree skiing.
9:00 am: Work your way to Milky Way Bowl and Dipper Knob until the gates to Mott and Killebrew Canyons to open. These two wind-loaded areas boast enough lines to keep every powderhound in freshies.
11:00 am: You're knee-deep in some of the gnarliest steeps Lake Tahoe has to offer. Plan on earning your Canyon EpicMix pin for riding Mott chair at least five times in a row.
Now it starts to get intense. This is the hottest, highest-elevation apres ski party at Lake Tahoe.
8:00 pm: After a shower and some shut-eye, you'll want to fuel up for the rest of the night, so hit 19 Kitchen Bar for world-class dining. The view is awesome!
Head right off the lift and then stay skiers right to access Nevada Woods - some of our most secret stashes & epic tree skiing. Full of steep skiing and natural features, these woods can't be missed.
Head down Cal Trail heading to the CA side to reach the everyman Stash spot - Maggie's Canyon. This vast and hidden tree skiing offers a little something for everyone.
The Galaxy Glades are a great place for novice powder hounds and to find powder several days after a storm! Take Galaxy Chair head left onto Nevada Trail to enter through gates X or Y.
A great place to sink your teeth into riding trees is Powderbowl Woods to your right at the top of this lift. You’ll be able to practice your tree runs without over committing in a quiet location.
Mogul skiers and Olympic hopefuls, head to Gunbarrel Express to access the double black bump terrain of The Face. This infamous selection of runs will test your endurance and sheer will. *experts only
