A masterpiece of Alvaro Siza. Built for the Lisbon Expo '98, it has a huge suspended slab covering the huge open space. A great view of river Tejo, next to Oceanario in Parque das Nações. A must see.

If you visit Lisbon you have to take a ride on the “Carreira 28”. The more than 100 years old streetcar takes you through small streets of the old town of the capitol. Quite bumpy but an experience!

Beautiful late 16th century monastery, if you can't get in cloisters have a free look inside church with tall palm like supporting columns. Roof has armillary spheres & cross bosses. Look up!
Located at Santa Maria de Belém, this is one of Lisbon's best venue for many international exhibitions and musical venues. You can hang out at the their terrace cafe and get great city views.
