A lot of people suggested this place but it's very mediocre and overpriced. Still, a decent place to sit and have lunch in Recoleta.
Absolutely beautiful. You really should visit and have a coffee in the Oak Bar.
Look up their calendar of events and definitely try to make it to something at the theater. There are also free shows once a month on the weekend.

An old mansion that is now a bar and restaurant. While there is better food to be found in the area, Milion is a nice spot to stop for a drink and soak up the scene. Seating inside or in the garden.
Not the best neighborhood, but if you are in Buenos Aires on a Monday you must go to La Bomba del Tiempo, a drum circle music show. Great venue, music, and lots of fernet.
Get there early, this Mediterranean restaurant is a local favorite with a line out the door! Casual and delicious.
