You will see people walking around the tourist market with those huge take-out boxes. 2 options: "a little spicy" and "very spicy". Pretty expensive (17,000 won) but will feed an entire family.
No English menu. Two options: chilled broth without fish or no broth with raw fish. Use the scissors to cut the noodles and add in mustard and vinegar according to taste. Very nice staff!
Busy near the entrance but crowds get thinner as you venture further inland. Hikes not recommended to those with knee injury/problem (many, many stairs). Buses run from/to Sokcho until after sunset.
