Alison Edwards: Take the X93 or 93 bus from Scarborough to Robin Hoods Bay and walk the coastal path (Cleveland Way) to Ravenscar. You can then get the 115 bus from Ravenscar back to Scarborough
Alison Edwards: Peasholm Park is a lovely Chinese themed park with a lake where you can hire a boat, a bandstand in the middle of the lake that hosts concerts, cafes, places to sit and of course, Navel Warfare.

Alison Edwards: You can walk to take the bus X93 or 93 that will get you to Whitby. This is a lovely sea side town with quaint streets to walk through, a harbour and loads of place for fish and chips.
