Order the Cherry Jones- the white pie is covered in melted mozzarella & gorgonzola cheeses, and topped with Prosciutto di Parma, dried bing cherries and orange blossomhoney. Read more
The Regina pizza is an essential New York bite: fior di latte, Italian tomatoes, PecorinoRomano, olive oil, and fresh basil. More places to eat like a local: tandl.me/12ufz7c
This is the best pizza I have ever had. Period. They don't take reservations and you can't order takeout. You have to go here to eat the pizza. Any wait is worth it. Find a way to eat this pizza!
I like this place. Great food, great vibes but menu is a bit overwhelming bc there are a lot of pizza to choose from. Desert choices were great veganapple pie with vegan ice scream.
Best pizza I had in NYC, and I had a lot! Numero 28 is the only one that get’s close to it. And very close to it in Brooklyn Barge, you get to see this views of the Skyline!
Some of the best pizza you'll ever eat. The bacon marmalade pie is one of the most amazing things I've ever put in my mouth. Also recommend the Hell Boy with soppresata and special hot honey.
The basic salad was extra tasty. Delicious thin chewy pizza. We got the sakemountain way (meh) and the stunner Neffy porkpie white, hot, sweet and salty goodness in dancing in your mouth.
Great pizza, ambiance, and service. I'm not sure it's worth the 90 minute wait on a Saturday night, though there's a few bars in the area that will help you pass the time.
Paulie Gee is a super friendly owner who makes you feel totally warm and fuzzy for eating pizza in a converted barn. Favorite Pie: the Hellboy, which is especially delectable if you dig spicy.
Given the crowds, it's unlikely you can choose seats but note that it gets rather warm in the back and cell service is weak so you may actually have to converse with your companion. Great pizza btw
Hellboy, Greenpointer (+ Prosciutto), the Monte Cristo and either Cherry Jones or Go Fig Yourself (changes seasonally). 3 pizzas for 4 people is adequate, 4 pizzas for 4 people if you're hungry.
A legend that has earned its spot in the New York Citypizza pantheon. Can't come without getting a Hellboy, but everything else you order should change every time. It's all so good.
Psssst! Did you know there's a secret pizza menu? Yeah, so secret it's on Paulie Gee's website. Check out the off-the-printed-menu pies for the return of some old classics and some new additions.
The most amazing vegan pizza, with all homemadevegan cheeses. I'm not vegan (just lactose intolerant) & they will put meat on your vegan pizza if you ask (though the jackfruitmeatballs are so good).
Order the Feel Like Bacon Love, topped with a bold Amatriciana-style sauce and fresh mozzarella, or the sublime Anise and Anephew, which has braised fennel fronds, guanciale, and anisette creme. Read more
Amazing vegetarian options. Call before you get there so you can check how long the wait is going to be bar. The bar is usually faster and has seating for 5-7 folks.
Paul Giannone will soon be opening a new, classic pizza slice joint in Greenpoint. Until then, check out his acclaimed original spot. Long lines are expected, but so are delicious, creative pies. Read more
Had the Helicopter Hellified Porkpie White and the Hometown Brisket. Both pizzas were delicious, but the hot honey drizzle on the Porkpie White is what has me wanting to go back to pursue Paulie Gees!
Best pizza and nicest owner in town. Get the Hellboy with spicyhoney and the Greenpointer, along with one of their locally brewedbeers. They open at 5- line starts forming around 4:45. Arrive early
Two words - hot honey. Doesn't matter what pizza you choose, order a side and make it happen! Gives a delicious and unexpected sweet kick to any pizza.
Not your typical pizza. It has grapes and ham as ingredients and they rock! One of a kind. Always a wait. Beer and wine. Yummy desserts. Cookies are delish. Keep coming back to this homey place
All the pizzas I had were amazing! I'd say the best were the cherry jones (very unique), hellified porkpie white and hellboy. The porkypineapple and hometown brisker are also great.
Grow up in NYC and on L&B's square slices like me? You need to try the Sweet Lou's. An ode to a Brooklyn Classic from Bensonhurst. It'll take you right back to the good ole days at Spumoni Gardens!
It's rare that any pizza place offer vegan pizza. So when one does, I'm all over it. This place has 7 different vegan pizza's. The Jackie Green pizza (vegan) is worth coming back for.
Wow! The rival to Roberta's. For my first Paulie Gee's experience I had the Hellboy and the Hometown Brisket. The spicyhoney on the Hellboy was amazing and the Brisket was delicious.
The ones with ricotta are really good. I love that they don't put pressure on you to leave (as at Roberta's). Service is fantastic! Be there early, there would be a line at 5:00
It's extremely important that you try the Anise and Anephew. If Go Fig Yourself is on the menu, go for that over the Cherry Jones. Too packed? Order to-go and eat on the waterfront!
A fancy omni pizza spot with an amazing amazing super-fantastic vegan menu. Homemadevegan sausage and ricotta. And Paulie Gee will come by your table to say hi--he's the man!
#FabuLIST #DubiDO if you arrive after 6 there will be a wait but head to Ramona’s for a cocktail to kill time. For pizza you must get the Hellboy. If you like blue cheese get the Cherry Garcia.
When it comes to pizza there's stiff competition, but Paulie Gee's serves outstanding gourmet pies with creative toppings. The idea to put Mike's Hot Honey on pizza is one of many strokes of genius. Read more
Quite possibly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had... in my life. Must try Aniece and Anephew and frankly anything with their signature hot honey on it
As much as a labor of love as any pizzeria out there, Paulie Gee's is warm and inviting. It serves wonderful pies patterned on the Neapolitan model but with a local slant.
The Hellboy is good but the honey makes it too sweet for an Old-world pizza lover like me. You can't go wrong with the Regina, though! Fresh mozzarella, Italian tomatoes, pecorino, fresh basil... Yum!
LOVE this place! A bit pricey (not too steep) but well worth it. Awesome ambiance for dates and meet-ups with friends and food and wine are super yummy.
You want the Hellboy. The combo of soppressata, spicyhoney, and fior di latte makes a pizza that's frighteningly easy to finish fast. Make sure you say hi to Paulie too, as he's often on the floor.
Stacks up to best pizza in NYC. Perfect char on the pies. Vegan options including daiya cheese and excellent, housemadevegan sausage. The hot honey on the hellboy is great. Paulie makes u feel home.
For meat-lovers, go for the Hellafied Porkpie White - mozz, sopressata, sausage and hot honey. Vegetarians won't go wrong with the Daniela Spinaci - garlic, spinach and olive oil. Try everything!
Cashewricotta on a pizza is the best vegan cheese substitute I've ever found. Sub it onto a (non-gluten free) pizza and eat dairy-free to your heart's desire! Too bad the wait is so long :(
Put your name in 2 hrs before you feel even the slightest hint of hunger. Drink at one of the many nearby bars. Return just as your stomach feels like it's eating itself. Try...anything. It's all good
If owner Paulie Gee stops by your table, get through the compliments quickly so you can spend this sacred minute inquiring about pizza with the oracle of world pizzaknowledge that he is.
Good but not the best in NY as purported. The mushroom and red onion pie and the kalepesto pie were delicious. Salads are fresh but odd ingredients and nothing special. Owner Paulie is a riot.
Some of the best pizza...ever. Order the Hellboy. Arrive early as there are no reservations and it gets packed! Be sure to say hi to Paulie while you're there.
