Scandinavian Restaurant · Öskjuhlíð · 41 tips and reviews
Richard Y.: The view over the city is better than on top of Hallgrimskirkja. Take the lift to the 4th floor for the terrace (10am-10pm summer). Revolving restaurant is higher (5th floor) and is worth at sunset.
History Museum · Háskóli Íslands · 33 tips and reviews
Lyudmila Dyankova: One of the best museums ever visited. Great displays, overwhelmingly informative, NOT boring in the slighest. Check out the hands-on rooms on the second floor where you can try the ring armour on!
Tansu: Open-air museum to preserve and show selected old houses, in order to give visitors an opportunity to learn about the architecture and lifestyle of the past.
I heart Reykjavík: If you pay for one of the three museums that belong to Reykjavík Art Museum entrance to the others are included in the price so make good use of your ticket.
Murat: Perfect location, in the middle of Pedestranian Street. The decoration is so nice and cosy. There is only local drafy beer, but food is amazing. Try FishBurger. Prices are ok, staff is very friendly.
Matthew Riley MacPherson: The beer here is fantastic, but be prepared to pay a small fortune for it. A "large" glass (certainly smaller than a pint) will run you £7 or nearly $14. Ouch!
Aðalsteinn 'Alli' Óttarsson: An amazingly fresh addition to the flora of hipster hot spots in 101 Reykjavik. The food is good, the price is fair and the atmosphere is great!
Debbie Davies: Chip from Alabama was my artist. It's an ancient Icelandic stave for awakening love. He was pleasant and gave me tips during my first-time visit to Reyjkavik.
