The tacos are modest, but they pack enough of a punch that two will suffice if supplemented with, say, a quesadilla. Start by ordering a basket of piping hot tortilla chips with salsa on the side. Read more
It astounds me that there isn't a line out the door. By far the best tacos in NYC; not even a close second! Get the Beef Tonguetacos and Queso Fundido, it's as an absolute must at this establishment
Queso Fundido is a bowl with melted cheese!! I repeat a bowl filled with melted cheese!! Fun to eat and if you share it as a starter you won't need more than 1-2 Tacos after it.
These tacos are by far the best tacos in the east coast. My biggest problem here it's how to stop ordering more tacos. Tinga de pollo and carne asada are my favoritos
Everything I eat here is outstanding!Guacamole, hongos, carne asada, chipotle shrimp, cebollitas, shishito peppers, fish tacos. ALL GREAT! Gets really busy at night so expect to wait.
If you can handle the tight space, you're in for a tasty (and spicy! and affordable!) Mexican treat. Three musts: guava margaritas, ezquites (corn) and tinga de pollotacos.
This place is great. A quiet refuge from what's happened to most of the Williamsburg food scene. The tacos were delicious. My favorite was the lengua followed by the carnitas. Get guac too!
Can't say it's the best tacos I've ever had (Places in LA and Austin come to mind), but a good option when you're feeling a casual Mexican bite. Their guavamarg and tamarindmargs are good!
This place has simply unbelievable flavors of salsa. Even the spiciest one was awesome. Tried almost all Veg entrées - they're the best! Fun music and the staff was very very nice.
Ceviche was great, guacamole very good, tacos with fish were amazing but all those we tried were also excellent. And I loved the margarita with mezcal. Can't wait to go back!
Portions don't justify the prices. Everything was fine. Spicy shrimp taco was literally a tortilla, 3 shrimp, and sauce. Youll find way better Mexican spots in Bed Stuy or Astoria.
This is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. Get the guava margarita and guacamole! Amazing service and talented bartenders/kitchen staff!! Highly recommend!
Best Mexican in the hood. It's a small place, so expect to wait a bit for a table, but grab a Guava Margarita at the bar while you wait and dont miss the Tounge Taco! Seriously don't be scared.
Start with a margarita and guacamole. The cochinita and lengua tacos are my faves. If you are up to it try the sesadilla. The frijoles charros are very delicious.
Start with a marg, some chips and guac, and get a bunch of different things to share. Be warned tho- la pescadito tacos have hot sauce on there that's not for the faint of heart.
Don’t be scared and try the Taco Lengua…yes, TongueTaco! Once you’ve crossed that hurdle, try the Sesadillas (Pork brain quesadillas)! Wash it down with the freshest margarita you’ve tasted north of
My god this place is delicious. I live in Chicago, and at certain times throughout the year I'm willing to buy a $200 ticket & sit on the plane for 2 hours... purely for these heaven sent tacos.
Small but well prepared portions. The cochinita pibil was most tender. Nice crust on the fish. Must: esquites mayo-y corn. To order, try to catch the waitress between her moments of texting.
Favorite Mexican food spot ever. They make the best margaritas in all of Williamsburg. If it’s not for the margs, it’s for their $5 chips and guac. Delish! http://bit.ly/MJk450 -Running in Wedges
Portions are tiny and overpriced..service was not good they forgot items and then argued when we told them so. Also what they call a ‘quesadilla’ on the menu is clearly an empanada
I finally found the best tacos in W'Burg. I'm a little late but holy crap. I almost wanna cry writing this tip right now. And most importantly, all of my Cali friends approve of this place.
Wow really super tasty and authentic! They have several menus haven't had the dinner one yet but brunch and lunch were dope!! Remember to bring cash :)
Delicious tacos and enchiladas. Paloma is a good drink to start the night with its high level of tequila. Highly recommended for those who want to eat something different.
"La Superior lives up to the hype!"..."The tortillas were soft and luscious, and each taco was topped with their chopped cilantro and oniongarnish, like God intended" http://gorealto.com/blog/?p=119
Impressive: pescadozarandeado, grilled white fish topped with crunchy pico de gallo, and tinga de pollo, shredded chicken spiced with chipotle, tasty heat you could smell. Read more
I hate to say it, but I don't quite get the hype. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious... but I don't think it's one of the absolute best. Great service and margaritas, though!
One of my nyc faves. Try the rajasquesadilla, garlic shrimp taco, mix the esquites into your frijoles de olla and drink a prickly pearagua fresca. Insane.
