One of the highlights of our trip. A must see when you are in this region. The 90 minutes tour is awesome, especially while you get tips how and when to make the most beautiful pictures.
Stunning views of the Grand Canyon, and less crowded too! Come at dawn or dusk for the best photos. The Watchtower closes at 6:30 PM sharp, so get there beforehand if you want to climb it.
Admission is around 5 bucks..and you have to walk 1/3 of a mile to see Montezuma's Castle. May not be the best thing to see if you or your guests have limited mobilty.
Going here on the way to Grand Canyon w/ a group of 4? Pick up a National Park Annual Pass for $80 & it will already almost pay 4 itself. (Save $20 here & the $25/car entry into GC).
Crystal Forest, Puerco Pueblo and Painted Desert Inn are must see! Agate Bridge, not so much. Amazing National Park!!
Painted Desert is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. Worth the hike to spend the night and have the most tranquil morning and sunrise of your life. Truly feel like you're getting away from it all.
Go to the Visitor's Center in Saguaro Nat'l Park West. Make time to watch the slide show. It's wonderful. Take the 10 minute drive and short hike to Signal Hill Petroglyphs!
