Munem: BEST vegan ramen in Tokyo. Hard to find, but worth the hunt. Follow signs to Keiyo Street / Line then ask for directions. It's very hidden, stage right of the UNIQLO store, past all the mini delis.
Epicurious: Multiple rooms situated around a Zen garden provides the perfect setting for the authentic Japanese cuisine. Try the twice-fried tofu - it's famous and comes in a variety of sauces and styles.
Emily K.: Classic Tokyo izakaya culture jam-packed into tiny alleyways stuffed with izakayas for every taste (seafood, meat, even vegetarian!). The best place to bar-hop and to try new nibbles.
Ted Barrera: One of Tokyo's best burger joints. Pity they don't Orr the Golden Brown Burger for lunch. For this reason, for lunch, The Great Burger Tokyo is king. For dinner though, Golden Brown reigns supreme!
Epicurious: This century-old soba shop is a true hole-in-the-wall gem. Thin noodles are complemented perfectly with seasonal ingredients that will make you want to slurp at top volume -a high compliment in Japan!
Audrey Ting: Good crust & flavor but only 4 to choose from- margarita, marinara, marinara picante @ 1000¥, & special ~1350¥ @ lunch. Potato salad & drink incl. Two 4-seat tables, rest is bar stools, no highchairs.
Peter Faulkner: Agreed. Best pizza in Tokyo. Colds was also excellent. Authentic italian. Home style. Not the type that tries to be high grade but it truely a great experience.

Val: Pin on Happy Cow is currently wrong. Walk along main road from Jimbocho Station, look for Toyota rental, walk a few more blocks and look for Cafe Globe on the corner. Make a right. It's down the lane.
Hazim M.: A pretty decent collection of pastas and appetizers. The presentation is top notch. Don't miss the carbonara as a main dish (which can be requested without pork bacon) and the felafel as a starter.

Steven Kalifowitz: It's a good all around burger joint. It's a coal grill so the burger is nice & smokey. The bun is also really nice. The fries are wedge fries (so so), the onion rings are great. Lightly breaded.
Rinnapat: English menu is available. The cafe offers Japanese food from different regions of the country. Food is simple, delicious and affordable. Staff is super nice. Highly recommended.
Stephanie: Some of the most legit Mexican we've found in Tokyo. Fajitas are the best as well as the recommended pork tacos. Order the larger pitcher of margaritas to share among friends - immaculate city view
Vasily Averin: As claimed by guidebooks and confirmed by friends, "best burger in Tokyo". I can only agree with that! Superb quality, very pleasant atmosphere, hip surroundings.
Tony Xerri: You can find this place on the Southern terrace in Shinjuku at the far end. It's tiny and cozy with plenty of Belgium ales to choose from. A lot cheaper than I anticipated as well! Take a time out!
