My Favourite Watering Holes in Colombo

Kisholi Mendis: Happy hour is from 12 to 1.30pm and again from 6.30 to 8pm except for Mondays where the evening happy hour is extended upto 9pm because of quiz night.

Kisholi Mendis: If you hate the smell/taste of beer like me try "Hunk on the Beach" which is Corona with lime and Worcestershire sauce which hides both very nicely. I usually ask for extra lime as well.

Kisholi Mendis: Ask for the rare steak. Say "very rare as in I want to see the blood in it". Awesomeness.

Kisholi Mendis: Slightly dodgy but love the sofas. Cheap drinks too. No karaoke actually. Just false advertising to scare away the faint of heart.

Kisholi Mendis: Happy hour is from 7 to 8.

Kisholi Mendis: Drinks are really cheap if you or a pal is a member

Kisholi Mendis: The ribs. The ribs. Oh. Fuck. Me. The. RIBS.

Kisholi Mendis: Full of teenagers aka loud young people - avoid unless very drunk.

Kisholi Mendis: The bar here ain't bad.

THE Z WORLD ZAHRAN: Good place for a quick drink. they have a band sometimes.
