Molino Bakery on 130 & Western is Excellent! They make their Conchas fresh every day and the coffee is definitely a great stay to the day.

Yes they can be snotty and they shouldn't be!!! A beautiful privileged town like this should have kind and caring people. There are plenty who are wonderful though!
I lived here for 6 years and it has been good. It is nice to go to the park with the kids and they will just start playing and we get to know the parents. Good small town atmosphere.
Back in the 80's & 90's kids would go cruising on the former 23rd Avenue. There was drag racing, indescent exposures, speeding & picking up girls/guys. That is the reason why the law is in place.
Downtown has a numerous amount of unnecessary traffic signals! I miss the old ones that used to change green and yellow and yellow and red at the same time! Where did these go???

Great city for family fun. Historic downtown, great shopping and restaurants. Great schools too, including Maine South, one of the best football programs on the country.
It's home but nothing spectacular. Too many chain restaurants. Do yourself a favor and find something local, will make you much happier.
