So surprised of the ratings. It was the worst- taste,service or value. Chicken soup was a bullion cube served half in a cup, half in the dish, a piece of rye + unchewable meat or liverwurst costs ~20$
Possibly the most famous NYC food landmark, this Jewish deli excels in each dish, from snappy hot dogs to giant pastrami sandwiches. Hint: don't forget to tip your carver!
Not as good as my childhood memories but if you want pastrami downtown . (and dont mind the price) Its still the place to go. And it still looks the same as 30 years ago.
