The pastrami sandwich is the best! They usually just put mustard with it. If you order a turkey sandwich, try it with the Russian sauce!

Cheese sandwich is great for vegetarians! Also, LATKES. Make sure you order everything from the right counter or else you'll get the stink-eye.

Do it correctly. Pastrami on rye with mustard, sour dill pickle, and a Dr Brown's cream soda. Make your mom proud.

Katz's is famous for its pastrami sandwich. It is actually very good. Very. Though, i think it is quite overpriced (around 20$).

So surprised of the ratings. It was the worst- taste, service or value. Chicken soup was a bullion cube served half in a cup, half in the dish, a piece of rye + unchewable meat or liverwurst costs ~20$

Pastrami on rye with a schmear of liver. Paired with a cream soda. Topped off with a pickle. But don't lose your ticket.

Pastrami sandwich and Matzo-ball soup were delicious. Slightly too full and chaotic, wasn't clear that they had table service...

Go with the classic: pastrami (or corned beef) on rye with a slash of mustard. Wash down with a Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray. Classic.

Possibly the most famous NYC food landmark, this Jewish deli excels in each dish, from snappy hot dogs to giant pastrami sandwiches. Hint: don't forget to tip your carver!
