Nycole Kelly: They close at 8:45 and are often busy, but it's totally worth it if you can get in or make a reservation. There are only two pizzas, get them both.

Steven Androphy: Tiny cocktail bar hidden in an alley in Ebisu -- if you manage to snag seats, the drinks are all incredible, and the bartenders are very friendly.
Nathan: Get the meat only set — you won’t have stomach space for anything else anyway. Very attentive service; they cook each dish and explain how to eat it as well. The yukhoe-style tartare is a standout.

EIGHT GRAPHICS: Go here if you want to eat a traditional, delicious Soba (buckwheat) in the vicinity of Azabu. My recommendation is "Kakiage Mori or Kamo-Seiro". ★★★

Johnnie Skywalking: Choose premium pork for shabu shabu and enjoy both premium and standard pork. They bring 4 different tasty dips but make sure you try it with salt and scallion first. Even better than dips.

DHR.com: Find peace and serenity at this Shinto Shrine in Shibuya. Make sure to visit both major areas (Naien and Gaien). You can also write a prayer on a piece of paper and then tie it to the wall of prayer.
Josh W: The absolute best ichigo daifuku (strawberry mochi) I've ever tasted. It doesn't keep very well, so eat it fresh. Avoid cutting it in half as well; that dries it out.
Travel + Leisure: This department store, spread out over eight buildings in Shinjuku, stocks a great selection of international products (French macarons; German cakes) in its basement food hall.

Kenny Rogers: Love this very small place. They now have a BIG selection of Japanese craft beer with great span in variety of styles. Get some wings to your beer. Very friendly and with English menu.
Jason H.: Love it. Lots of little restaurants with all types of food and drink. We were lucky to have a host. I’d check to make sure they were tourist friendly but definitely worth checking out.
Grace Aldridge: A good bar if you’re in the mood for some serious quiet time. The drink menu is all in Japanese, so if you can’t read it, come knowing what you want to order or ask the bartender for some help.
Dan Castellano: Fabulous speakeasy style bar with excellent cocktails, a nice hybrid of Trench and Tram and their cocktail menu gives good guidance on what might be your best option
Dan Castellano: Much less crowded than Nihonbashi branch for same wonderful sashimi donburi, if you go big the ‘tokujo’ is an amazing uni/crab/tuna/ikura experience at around 3,500 yen
Ivan Iliev: R2 is one of the better upper level options for drinks in Roppongi, not as disgusting as the majority of other places around. Gray Goose vodka's price is very good value compared to whiskeys/wine etc.
