The Henry Hudson Trail runs from Freehold to Matawan, then picks up again in Keyport and goes to Highlands. Here you will find all the best spots along the trail to check-in to.
Jimmy Kastner: This is the former location of the infamous Marlboro Slaughterhouse. It's now a park. Take a relaxing bike ride or stroll through on the trails.
Jimmy Kastner: This airport is no longer in use, but it is a nice spot to rest or park your car if you want to use the trail. You're a little more than halfway to Matawan if you're coming from Freehold.
Jimmy Kastner: It's a pretty big accomplishment if you made here from Freehold. This is the end of the southern portion. It picks up again in Keyport on Broadway and Clark.
Jimmy Kastner: If you're riding your bike on the Henry Hudson Trail, this is a good place to go. It's in between the northern and southern portions, and you can take your bike on the train to NYC or the Shore.
Jimmy Kastner: The northern portion of the trail ends here. The southern portion picks up again in Matawan. Ride south to Broad St, then left on Park, right on Orchard, and left on Stillwell... Then go to Freehold.
Jimmy Kastner: A great place to park your car and it's close to the Leonardo Trailhead. See if you can ride to Keyport... or if you really want a long ride, try to go to Freehold.
Jimmy Kastner: This is the end of the Henry Hudson Trail. You can ride this all the way to Matawan or even Freehold, but don't forget, you have to ride back... There's more trail to the east at the marina.
Jimmy Kastner: This is a nice spot to ride or walk around. The Leonardo Trailhead is to the west on Ave D. That will take you to Keyport. To the east is Popamora Point, but be careful; It's a dirt trail.
Jimmy Kastner: This is the very, very end of the Henry Hudson trail. If you came from Matawan and want to ride back, you can also ride down the shore to Long Branch and take the train back. It's the same distance.
