Jason Abdullah: It can get really crowded in the afternoon and weekends. Go Monday-Friday before 3pm. Parking can be tricky but there is a parking lot on the corner of E Santa Ana St./S. Claudina St. with parking

Jason Abdullah: Try the Impossible burger, which comes with two patties, caramelized onions, cheese, mustard, house spread, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Grab a seat on the grass out front and enjoy the weather.

Jason Abdullah: They open nice and early at 8am. The main attraction for me are The Original New Orleans Beignets, which come in bags of 4, 6, 10, 12. Shake the bag up like crazy for maximum powdered sugar coverage.

Jason Abdullah: They just added a huge new bar in front. Ask to be seated outside, or upstairs in their quiet dining area. Did you know that the mosaic by the kitchen is all individually laid tiles? It’s beautiful.

Jason Abdullah: They have breakfast sandwiches, Breakfast Burritos, and all kinds of Hot Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads, and Soups. I like to dip The Original into a bowl of Tomato soup. They also have a cool kids menu.

Jason Abdullah: They have live music Nightly from 6 - 10 pm. The Panéed Chicken Bercy and Blackened Shrimp and Parmesan Grit Cake were awesome. Try the Bananas Foster which are Flambeed tableside for two!

Jason Abdullah: A cool twist on the classic favorite pastime. If you need a cold adult beverage, opt-in for the 18 OZ Michelada Schooner which goes perfectly with the Macho Nachos.

Jason Abdullah: Their milkshakes bring all the visitors to the yard. Skip the line and order shakes at a to-go counter, which is usually much faster. Try the Brooklyn Blackout for some Chocolate goodness!

Jason Abdullah: The outdoor bar area is first-come-first-serve. Head up the stairs and out the door. The terrace is beautiful around sundown and lively. Pair the “Beyond” Burger with a California Kolsch, A-maz-ing!

Jason Abdullah: The ultimate Disney shopping experience. Keep your eyes on the walls for animated flying cats, dogs, and Peter Pan. Behind the register, look for Cinderella posters that come to life, truly magical.

Jason Abdullah: Off the beaten path, with an industrial feel, the Ranch is far from ordinary. Ample parking (if you come early). Try the Baked Popovers with organic European style butter…the stuff dreams are made of.

Jason Abdullah: A visit to California is not complete without a trip to In-N-out. Try an item off the not-so “secret” menu, such as a grilled cheese, Neapolitan shake or fries well-done. No line if you come early.

Jason Abdullah: Yummy chargrilled burgers! Make sure you get your hands on the Tempura Green Bean fires with a side of ranch dressing to dip. Snag a vanilla soft serve cone for $1. They have a Gluten Free Menu too.

Jason Abdullah: Is there anything better than Ice Cream on a hot summer night? Salt & Straw is exceptional. Check out their limited edition menus that update monthly, usually with savory and sweet options.

Jason Abdullah: The best late night meal after a long day. Closes at 1am Fri/Sat. Order the SCOE'S, which comes with 1/4 juicy Chix prepared southern style and 2 huge waffles. Don’t forget the red rooster hot sauce!

Jason Abdullah: Light, bright, and fresh. Has a greenhouse feel to it. Start with the Ck Probiotic Mimosa, it’s healthy right? Or they have a wide variety of ORGANIC wine, tea, & Bambucha. Enjoy the outside seating.

Jason Abdullah: Italian ice with whipped cream on top...forgettabotit! Get the “bada bing“, made with real cherries. If you’re looking for something sweet without all the sugar, they have Sugar Free options too!

Jason Abdullah: For the "bootlegger" in us all, The Blind Rabbit is the Speakeasy we've all been looking for. Make a reservation at least 2 weeks in advance via online. Note that you can only stay inside for 1 hour.
