The new rental car center is a nightmare. Poorly planned, long lines and terrible service. Be sure to plan ahead wasting a lot of time when picking up and dropping off a car.

This is a very disorganized airport. If you are flying domestic overnight from terminal 1, beware. After 9:30 pm they close the security lines for gates C directing everyone to the further gate D

Going to a casino? Get a shuttle. The taxi line had at least 75 people in it.
be sure to tell the taxi driver the specific route you want to take - saying "don't take the freeway" won't prevent them from you being driven the long way.
Taking a cab is the best mode of transportation. I took the advice of someone in the airport not to take the freeway and it still cost me $30 to get to the Wynn plus I sat in traffic for over 20 min.
If your hungry, make sure you get something before you get here. Food options are very limited.
Don't take the super shuttle if you can avoid it. 10-15 min wait became 60mins with no explanation or apology
The carpet need some maintenance ASAP. When you check in to pass security the smell of feet is so bad but it doesn't end there the waiting area smell horrible too. G D41
Do not take an airport shuttle to your hotel. It takes way too long. Just pay the extra $$ and use a taxi or car service. The shuttle is only $7.50 for a reason.

Terminal 3 is such a great difference vs the old terminal. As with any flight, arriving a couple of hours before, will get you in in no time. With a minutes to spare for shopping or a cup of joe :-)
McCarran's FREE WiFi is so clutch. It should be a model for airports around the world.
