Very good chowder. Think the secret is in the bacon that enhances the clam flavour. The biscuits r great too.Go for the oysters only if you want to support MA sourced ones.Give the fluke crudo a miss.
Excelent service, waitress knew a lot about their beer and oyster selection. We ordered the island creek oysters, bouillabaise and lobster roll, everything was amazing!
Oyster! They're so so fresh. Shrimp cocktail is also one of my favorite. The lobster roll is aweson. They have some sort of lobster soup, but not every time. So don't miss when you see it on menu.
One of my favorites in Boston. Fresh and local oysters; must try the clams with bacon, monkfish with black rice or the fish and chips. Friendly staff, great location and a little expensive.
Oysters, littleneck clams, and bomb-diggity lobster roe noodles - this restaurant has all my favorites! I always get the Moon Shoals - NE oysters are brinier to begin with but these are just perfect.
bouillabaisse & ambience were both amazing - the bouillabaisse was seriously one of the best meals i have ever had. 10/10, so good, especially the amazing saffron broth!!! plus a super cool vibe
The finest meal I ate in Boston, period. (And I did my research before I arrived.) Superb fish (red trout), BUTTERMILK BISCUIT, excellent cocktails, and fine atmosphere. Don't miss it!

I'm typically not Annie fan of oysters, by this place is a little different. Oysters are fresh, presentations on point and they have alternative main dishes like salmon sooo delicious
Our fourth time here and it gets better every time. One of the best restaurants vibes anywhere. The lobster roe fetuchini is outstanding and I can't resist that biscuits with honey.
Awesome seafood. Oyster selection is top notch. Lobster roll hold the bread for gluten free option was perfect. Waiter even suggested mashed potatoes instead of chips that share a fryer.
Oysters and drinks were really good, my party all enjoyed their food, I made a point to try everything, I really found mediocrity, service was great, atmosphere is excellent
Island Creek oysters are so delicious! Great service, ambience & wine selection. Get the oyster sliders for apps & roe noodles, monkfish, or casserole for entree. Dessert: Rhubarb strawberry turnover!
Good, fresh sea food yes, but the 9.5 is aggressive. Vibe is like an upmarket big box chain with 4 Star hotel quality food. Not hating jus saying. Would return tho
Great oysters (obviously) and great cocktails! The lobster roll was a little too mayo-y for my liking but packed full of meat and the side of homemade chips are great!
Lobster roll 4.5/5. toasted brioche. Lobster filling is a nice lobster mayo salad. Kettle chips could be crisper. Island creeks are excellent, nausets saltiest, smoothest. Belon a sweet-sour enigma.
If you walk in without a reservation, they can sometimes seat you at the dining bar. Excellent place to sit. The Island Creek oysters are the local, cheapest on the menu and huge. Well worth it!
(Best of Boston 2013-SEAFOOD) Improper Bostonian says, "Bivalves are only the beginning. Whether it's pearlescent crudo, an inspired halibut with mushroom broth/ the gastronomic epiphany of trout..."
The stars align at the bar. Don't be afraid to ask for advice on a new favorite based on your old ones. Some of the best cocktails and seafood in the city are served here.

We opened the Island Creek Oyster Bar to bring the restaurant to the farmer. It's a collaboration joining farmer, chef, and diner in one space. We welcome guests to get to know their oyster grower, harvester, winemaker, distiller, brewer, and fisherman. One meal at a time.
