Pre Inca Temple right in the heart of Miraflores. Belonging to the Lima culture, some sections have been recently excavated with very interesting results. Contains a small site museum.
Free entry and tours in English. You may have to wait for these though. Dungeon, torture chambers and headquarters of the inquisition for all of Spanish America, 1570/1820.
Restored recently, built in 1624, one of the most beautiful colonial churches in Lima from 17th century.
Visits to the catacombs & monastery is by guided tour only. The catacombs house holds the skeletal remains of an estimated 70,000 people that were killed during the Spanish Inquisition.
Found here are the remains of the Colonial wall that was built to protect Lima from 1687 until 1870. This area is very popular with locals on the weekend.
