Copley is an upper-class residence hall. The first floor contains Copley Formal Lounge, a large formal room used for many student and university gatherings. Copley is also home to St. Williams Chapel.
Did you know: "Hoya Saxa" literally means "what rocks" in Latin and Greek. So, if anyone asks you "What is a Hoya?" say YES!
Looking north from the front gates you'll see Poulton Hall, home to the Center for Social Justice and the Mask & Bauble dramatic society - the oldest of its kind in the nation!
Alumni Square contains upperclassmen apartments with full kitchens and bathrooms. GU also owns approximately 70 townhouses within one block of the main gates.
Built in 1877 Healy Hall is a National Historic Landmark. It is named after Patrick F. Healy, S.J., Georgetown president from 1873-1882 and the first African-American to head a major university.
Watch an event in Gaston Hall. Since 1901 Gaston has hosted heads of state, foreign dignitaries, prominent politicians and notable artists and performers.
If you're a history buff, go to the Special Collections Research Center on the fifth floor for access to rare books, manuscripts and photos from Georgetown's past.
Take the stairs to the top of Village A for great views of the Potomac River and our neighbor to the south - Arlington, VA.
A freshman residence hall, New South opened in 1959 and is so-named because at the time it was the building furthers south on campus. The name stuck!
Leo’s is the main dining hall on campus offering two levels of food and drink options. As a “trayless” facility, Leo’s is able to save about 145,000 gallons of water per year.
Jesuits have dedicated their lives to Georgetown and are easily accessible. Wolfington, known as the “JesRes” on campus, is home to most of the 60 Jesuits that live at the university.

Home court for the women’s basketball and volleyball teams. The men’s basketball team plays at the Verizon Center located in the heart of DC. Georgetown is also represented by 29 teams in 15 sports.
