Ganesh Murthy: Lovely beach front bar. Excellent uninterrupted beach view. Fast service. Friendly staff. Harbour IPA the best! Delicious tapas. Indoor and outdoor sitting available. Blankets available on request.
Fjara ♡: The remains of Wheal Dream tin mine overlook this all year round dog friendly cove. Quiet and often missed by visitors, it's a more peaceful place to soak up the sun.
Carbis Bay Holidays: Conveniently located on the in St Ives harbour, the Lifeboat Station is well worth a visit during your holiday. Look out for a practice launch during your stay. Children (and adults!) love to watch.
Fjara ♡: The most delightful and delicious homemade fudge I have ever eaten. No other St Ives fudge compares to this! My recommendation is peppermint but there are a large variety of other flavours.
Andrew Mowbray: Run by the same family for four generations, they make the best pasties in St Ives, and possibly all of Cornwall! Prices are reasonable (from £2).
Andrew Thoupos: The Traditional Steak pasty is magnificent. Unbeatable taste and quality. Their massive size and weight however, may cause the earth to tilt on its axis, thereby contributing towards global warming.
Fjara ♡: Variety of pasties, pastries, baguettes, jacket potatoes etc with sweet options available. Amazing £3 paninis. Several branches through St Ives in case you're wandering.
Fjara ♡: Incomparable selection of miniature liquors to be found here, as well as souvenirs and gifts. Must visit for any tourist who like their alcohol.
Anne Wilson: We have been using this very friendly and exceedingly good Post Office and Shop in St. Ives for many years now. They have the best selection of postcards, calendars, stationery, topical gifts.
Fjara ♡: Beautiful art gallery, many pieces for sale of seaside and St Ives, animal themed and portraiture. Also houses talented artists you can watch at work or commission. Well worth a browse.
Avradeep Chakrabarti: Considering the entry price, the exhibition centre is disappointing. The kind of place you'll likely only visit once. Views are stunning tho, but not worth paying for!
Alex Canning: The perfect antidote to the tourist-oriented hospitality of St Ives - totally authentic, serving high quality espressos-based and filter coffees. Very friendly too.
Fjara ♡: Lots of slightly dated arcade games to keep the family entertained for awhile. Look out for the dodgy Jungle Boat child's ride at the entrance lol, the animals are definitely not from the jungle.
Alan Brindley: Of you are looking for the best self catering accommodation in the area . Carbis Bay Holidays have over 120 five star properties to choose from
Carbis Bay Holidays: Very convenient for guests arriving for a holiday in St Ives. It can get very busy on a Saturday, so you could consider arranging your grocery delivery online for when you arrive.
Fjara ♡: Sadly closed to tourists as a visitor centre since 2014, which featured the world's fastest internet cafe and many exhibits as well as a bus tour around the antennas.
