Erik Rowley: Take a cruise on the second largest natural lake (and the deepest) in the state of Iowa. Enjoy some cold drinks, feed popcorn to seagulls, and maybe even tug the horn of the beautiful Queen II ship.
Erik Rowley: West Lake is the second largest natural lake in the state of Iowa, and the deepest (reaching a depth of 136 feet). It's the most popular for tourists and boating, and the 4th of July firework show.
Erik Rowley: Massive trail system that stretches over 25 miles connecting Loon Lake in Southern Minnesota to Milford, IA. Beautiful views of lakes, prairie, wooded, and urban landscapes, incredible trek!
Erik Rowley: One of the sites of the bloody Spirit Lake Massacre and now a memorial and museum. A band of Sioux Indians murdered around 40 settlers in the region, a precursor to the Dakota War of 1862.
Erik Rowley: The Art Center hosts very talented musical and theatrical shows. Catch The famous comedy cast show Second City every fall, or tour the art galleries.
Erik Rowley: Fascinating museum that displays the history of the Iowa Great Lakes through artifacts and news tutorials. Definitely worth a visit especially since it is free!
Erik Rowley: Iowa's largest natural lake. The name comes from French fur trappers who heard legends from Dakotah Indians that an evil spirit resided in the lake.
Erik Rowley: My favorite bar on the Boji strip Captain's provides live music and great service. They also serve really good food, loved the Philly cheesesteak!
Erik Rowley: Wine Bar is a relaxing yet invigorating place to spend an evening on the Arnold's Park strip. With a nice outdoor patio, wide selection of wines and beers, excellent service, & fascinating art gallery
Erik Rowley: Welcome to the registrar's office of the infamous University of Okoboji. If you've made it this far you really owe it to yourself to take home an official blanket with the college seal. Incredible!
Erik Rowley: Used to love this place as a kid! Sioux was my fav cabin. Lots of memories of capsizing sail boats, snacking on fruit rollups from the store, campfires, and playing capture the flag!
Erik Rowley: Great local Mexican establishment that's perfect for grabbing a meal on the go. The hard shell tacos are delicious and easy to take with on the beach or out boating on the lakes.
Erik Rowley: Interesting little museum, a tribute to local bands that to be honest I had never heard of, a "begotten era", it's only $1 to tour the place to worth a visit.
Erik Rowley: Fun place to grab drinks and lounge out in the sun by the lake. Food is nothing special, typical bar food don't understand the hype, often sketchy crowd likes to gather here.
Erik Rowley: Evidence of ancient civilizations has been found at this site. An archaeological study is ongoing at the park. A new lodge had opened recently as well.
Josh Slifer: Great place to catch a couple of movies and a great price. Movies might be out awhile before they get them here but it's still a Drive In not many left anymore.

Erik Rowley: Incredible forest trails, perfect for hiking or taking the dog for a walk (If you don't mind them taking a dip in the winding stream). Be on the lookout for deer, lots of unique wild life.
Erik Rowley: Great thin crust pizzas, perfect for munching while enjoying a game or socializing. Newly remodeled, the interior provides an enriching lodge environment. My favorite restaurant in Estherville.
