Anna: It's just some tables in a carpark where they happen to serve some of the freshest seafood in Rome. Service is friendly (no English) and bookings required.

Anna: La Romana may be more commercial than other gelaterie in Rome, but their creamy flavours are great, the service is lovely and you get warm chocolate in the bottom of your cone. My favourite gelateria.
Anna: The most famous pizza al taglio place in town. The owner is obsessed with the base, and the toppings are over the top - tripe, roast beef salad, even pineapple.
Anna: This place is low key but always packed. All their pastries are good. You buy to take away or take to the next door cafe to have with coffee. At Easter, pick up delicious fried Lenten pastries.
