Here are some key routes to get you around the city.
1. LINK Light Rail (Central Link)
M Fong: Essential to getting to and from the airport without a car.
2. King County Metro Route 49
M Fong: This route will get you from the U-District to Capitol Hill to Downtown along eastlake.
3. 358 Southbound
M Fong: Probably the sketchiest route in Seattle BUT will get you quickly from downtown to the most northern area of Seattle, via Aurora.
4. King County Metro Route 44
M Fong: This bus takes you from Ballard to the U-district, if you're lucky it will turn into a 43 and take you to Capitol Hill and then downtown.
5. King County Metro Route 11
M Fong: Downtown to Madison Beach. For working dads and moms and people. Also passes Trader Joe's.
6. KC Metro Bus Stop 71, 72, 73
M Fong: Take them from the U-District to Downtown (vice versa), grab an express one if you can. And the chance of sitting on wet graffiti or a soggy jack in box bag is slim.
7. King County Metro Route 5
M Fong: The 5 takes you from Greenwood, to Fremont, to downtown and could change into a 54 and take you into West Seattle.
8. King County Metro Route 54
M Fong: Downtown to West Seattle and the Ferry.
