There’s a tiny wooden booth at Normafa offering nostalgic strudels. Although you can find tastier ones in town, the scents are amazing, and the view is pleasing.
Recommended as the best coffeeplace in Budapest, checked out by us and approved :-) the staff is very nice and funny, the coffee is like heaven, the place is wonderfull and the food was great!
The venue itself is great, the food is correct, the desserts are the cherry on the cake. Send home crew and it will be the best spot around.
Beautiful view over the city, fresh air and nature! You can use the chairlift to get up the hill, but check on what time it will close. Otherwise it is a quite long walk back.
Not only the donuts but the atmosphere of the place is just amazing. It's never crowded, there's good music and great books you can read! A lovely place for meetups.
Bartender knows everything about beer; draught beer changing all the time. Shame that its only open till 9pm. A must for beer lovers.

Der Weg hoch lohnt sich - Wahnsinns-Ausblick auf die Stadt und die Donau. Unbedingt auch abends hochgehen. Liegt übrigens höher als die Fischerbastei, daher sieht man noch mehr ;-)

Near the Hungarian National Museum, there is an adorable venue, which is also perfect for picnics. The Károlyi Garden has benches, a playground, a dog run, beautiful flowers and big shady trees.
