- BriannaSeptember 18, 2018Deeelish! Incredible meats. Super fresh & flavorful sides. Humane portions. Quick, friendly service. Excellent! We out-of-towners were treated to a view of the special BBQ smokehouse.
- Justin HFebruary 10, 2017Some of the best BBQ in ATL. But definitely the best smoked wings I've ever had. The Habanero Mustard sauce is perfect. I'm also a huge fan of the pastrami Reuben. Great spot to watch the games too!
- TJAugust 5, 2015The smoked wings are really good. Plus there are a number of sauces you can choose from to apply to your wings. But what I like best, the wings taste good without any sauce added.
- TJAugust 26, 2015These roasted wings are great. Definitely giving anyone else a run for their money. Worth trying and testing out different sauces to see which ones you prefer.
- Pulled chicken salad is hearty & delish. It's not on the menu anymore, but you can request it. I use the sweet BBQ sauce as my dressing instead of the one it comes with :)
- Chris PolloneOctober 21, 2014Can't go wrong with deviled eggs & the St. Louis ribs, but if the smoked sausage is available, definitely get it.
- Tuesday Trivia. Format: Team Trivia. Time: 8:00. Notes: Get there 20+ minutes early to score a table. Host doesn't like raunchy names since its a "family establishment"
- Christopher YorkFebruary 9, 2013Foods good! Price can get away from you but hey Eat Local right? I personally didn't like the spiked root beer at all and I love root beer! :-( BUT over all a great place to eat!
- Alex BosworthNovember 8, 2021Service here is not good but the barbecue is great. Sauces aren’t anything too special but the brisket and smoked wings don’t even need it
- Ansley BarfieldApril 3, 2014Boiled peanuts are kinda gnarly- but everything else is great! I recommend the Archie Bunker and the Jimbo Burger. Mac and cheese is also delicious!
- Michael HenryJuly 16, 2015Never had good brisket out side of Texas till I found D.B.A. And the ribs and pastrami are also first rate!
- Alexis HowellJune 20, 2013Awesome find! So much better and cheaper than Fox brothers!!!!! Will def come back again....
- Get a Jammer Bomb and the Archie Bunker. Finish it off with The Bart for dessert. Also don't forget about Manly Monday! $1 PBR and all things manly.
- Sundays smoked fried chicken dinner special is hands down the best around. 3pc meal for $15. And worth every penny!!
- John KraftJanuary 25, 2018Got pork bbq sandwich w/ slaw top ($8.75) & iced tea. No sides since $3 ea! Total $12+tip, which I don’t call cheap lunch. Good, but not great. Real bbq will have some fat, but several blobs, was ugh.
- SEGAJanuary 5, 2012Get the Archie Bunker - it's pulled pork, bbq sauce and macaroni and cheese on Texas toast (bacon optional)! - Kate, Assistant Community Manager
- As a previous guest bartender here, I can tell you the DBA cocktails are amazing. I recommend the Georgia Mule...or really anything with moonshine.
- The Archie bunker never lets me down. The house cocktails are pretty solid but they aren't that strong.
- Video_BeanJanuary 10, 2012#ManlyMonday Smok-n-fried chicken, smoked Turkey Legs, $1 PBR, #BCS game, and $3 @PBR_USA http://t.co/0sIiDAkD
- Chris FullerMay 16, 2013Try the Fried Pickles And Bacon With Ranch - A piece of the deep field bacon - good god. Stunning.
- Burger - where have you been? Present surprise to get a fresh not frozen burger cooked to perfection.
- Matt TrippJuly 24, 2011Try the off-menu Apple Pie moonshine. It's like drinking a liquid apple pie. If you're a fan of F/X's Justified, it's what Mags' recipe probably tastes like.
- Annalise CarmackDecember 28, 2016Boiled peanuts: not good; mush. Wings: pretty good; Hotlanta sauce had some good heat. Pulled pork sandwich: disappointing; meat was bland & dry. No amount of sauce could help. Onion rings: awesome!
- The Cheese and Corn Muffins are a must before, during or after your meal. I like to take them home for a late night snack or breakfast.
- Jennifer WarawaMay 25, 2012Highly recommend the whole house platter with the cream corn - it's the best ever and my new favorite side!
- Get the grilled creamed corn or sweet potater tots as one of your sides, they're yummy.
- Best fried chicken in Atlanta. Sadly it's only Sunday night. Worth the trip. Perfect smoked fried chicken!!!!
- Get the Archie bunker w/ chicken instead of pork & a side of collards, thank me later.
- Holly CliftonAugust 30, 2013The brisket is amazing with Bryan's tangy bbq sauce and a Jailhouse Breakout Stout!
- Dennis MurrayAugust 15, 2014Great pulled pork. Juicy and tender, good bark and flavor without sauces.
- Gotta taste the Atlanta style wings. So good! And if you're bold enough you should order an illegalATLien.
- The Archie Bunker is amazing (who doesn't love mac & cheese on a pork sandwich on Texas toast? Mmmm)!
- Occupy My Family AtlantaDecember 18, 2012No matter the meat, the 'cue is always juicy! We also recommend the Texas creamed corn!
- Wesley BrackettJuly 20, 2011The free check-in Gumbo is great. A bit expensive, but very good quality. The mac-n-cheese is unbelievable.
- Diana BaldwinOctober 22, 2011The Moonshine that is sweet is more like a a sweet liquer. Go for Smokier ones, like a fine Scotch with some smokiness to it.
