CJ Wallington: 2d MS, 42d MS, & 55th NC hide in the cut to escape Federal fire. Unfortunately the 84th NY, 95th NY and 6th WI reach the steep banks and shoot down. 42d MS & 55th NC escape but most 2d MS captured.
