Reputedly the best coffee in Christchurch right now! Great cafe, and I can recommend the delicious seafood chowder.
This place is just beautiful! Lovely garden & verandah, cosy interior; lovely friendly staff. Haven't got through much if the menu yet, but the coffee is good, and breakfast menu looks delicious!

Can't get as close to the glacier as you can at Fox Glacier, but the walk is much easier. We got treated to a gorgeous rainbow across the valley though :)
Arrive 15 minutes early for your tour and expect confusion if it's a gorgeous sunny day. That said, our Ice Explorer tour was amazing, our guides were terrific--cautious, friendly, kind, competent.
