They have two different menu's here. One for Foreigners and One for Locals. Crazy difference in prices! Is this legal? Ask for the local menu!
Temple of the Tooth. Be sure to attend the daily poojas when they main door opens to the tooth relic. A special place for me, a 24K necklace of my great grandmothers adorns the golden stupa.

There are awesome views from near the top of the Buddah statue. Make sure you respect the place and don't do anything to disrespect it. (like standing on the head of the statue, like some people)
The Pallekele Stadium also known as Muttiah Muralitharan International Cricket Stadium, is an unique sporting ground.Its located about half a drive from Kandy. The stadium looks Amazing!!!
Haven't played Test Cricket here since 2009. The new Kandy Stadium is around 30km south of the town.
