Ben Engen: Having now seen every rooftop in this town I can say they have the best. Plus live music and decent beer. If the WiFi were better I'd be here all the time.
Ben Engen: Really nice setting, good WiFi and one of the best yogurt parfaits I've ever had. Not to mention the barista was a total gem. Competing with San Martin for my regular breakfast spot.

Ben Engen: Really lovely hotel built up around the ruins of an old convent. Excellent food in the restaurant as well. A most go if you're in town. Be sure and walk around the entire grounds.
Ben Engen: Really lovely setting with an interior courtyard wrapped by a bar to sit at. Good WiFi. Good breakfasts and amazing backed goods. Rapidly becoming one of my favorites.
Ben Engen: I tend to be of the belief that if it doesn't include meat it isn't a meal but I really enjoyed my breakfast bagel and the coffee smoothie thing I had. Will certainly be back for future breakfasts.
Ben Engen: If you're in Antigua you basically have to. It's a tough hike because it's so steep but if you're just doing the base camp and summit it isn't too long. You can do it!

Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant · 2 tips and reviews
Ben Engen: Burger was good, especially considering it was Vegan. Service was excellent and they have good WiFi. I'll go back but I don't think it's worth the hype.
Ben Engen: This place is so wee that I walk by it every day and never noticed it. However, it's got a nice setting and really good, healthy, options. I recommend giving them a try.
Ben Engen: Good Mexican restaurant. I tried the Cactus Burrito which was quite good but didn't live up the the hype. Margaritas were great, though. Simple yet delicious.

Ben Engen: Real Guatemalan food. We tried an assortment of their stews which were all great. Worthwhile if you really want to get a feel for Guatemala.
Ben Engen: Nice setting, pretty upscale for Antigua. Had a good meal but was unimpressed with the wine. Didn't quite think it lived up to the other reviews.
Ben Engen: Truth be told I mostly went in because I was surprised to see a Chinese place in Antigua. It held up very well, though. Not the best I've had but not the worst. Dumplings were good.
Ben Engen: I'm always skeptical of any place claiming to have American BBQ outside the U.S. This place is fine but not great. I will say it's the only place I've heard country music outside the U.S.
Ben Engen: Good service but I was disappointed in my Reuben, yes I know it's Guatemala. They had some good looking strombolis I'm willing to give a chance to still.
Ben Engen: Decent little coffee shop with serviceable WiFi. I liked it but not enough to return and I don't know that it'd be worth a trip out of your way.
Ben Engen: Always enjoy seeing the country-to-country differences in things like McDonald's. This is the biggest one I've ever set foot in. However, no interesting local twists on food that's below average.
