The caves, which technically are mines because they are man-made, are carved out of sandstone and date back to the 1840s. In the 1920s, the caves were used as a restaurant and nightclub.
This place is awesome. Make sure if you bring your kids to have them eat prior cause you pay by weight. $100+ Ice Cream = :-(
Lunches there are very good! Lots of sandwich, burger and salad choices. Nice atmosphere.
Make sure to pick up your dog poop and don't litter! Keep the park nice!
