The “Upset Of the 2011 Season” took place on November 19th when the Cyclones beat #2 Oklahoma State in OT, enabling eventual National Champion Alabama a spot in the BCS Title game.
The first BCS game to go to OT was played here in 2000. Tom Brady led Michigan down the field for 7. Bama answered with a TD, but Ryan Pflugner shanked the PAT to crown UM as Orange Bowl champs.
In February 2001, Michael Jordan became the only player over 40 years old to score over 40 points in a game. Air Jordan doing his thing, per usual.
