1. Dark Horse Espresso Bar
Luke Andrews: You could go to any Dark Horse, but you might as well go to the nicest, grandest one. Reliably great coffee.
2. Manic Coffee
3. RSquared Cafe
4. Terroni
Luke Andrews: Popular Italian. Great pizza, pasta. Queen Street location is the original; this one is a bit more upscale in feel.
5. Canoe
Luke Andrews: Totally touristy, with the prices to match, but the food is pretty great and so are the views from the 54th floor.
6. Lee Garden Restaurant
Luke Andrews: There are probably better restaurants in Chinatown, but I don't know them and this one's a classic.
7. Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu
Luke Andrews: Cheap, awesome Korean. Cheap beer too.
8. Kinka Izakaya Original
Luke Andrews: Japanese pub food. I wish the lines were shorter, but it's probably still worth the wait.
9. Sukhothai
Luke Andrews: Best Thai food in the city. So. Good.
10. Gladstone Cafe
11. Drake Cafe
12. Dakota Tavern
Luke Andrews: Great music venue, dive bar
13. Horseshoe Tavern
Luke Andrews: There's probably a great band playing here.
14. The Embassy Bar
Luke Andrews: Good draught beer selection, cozy booths.
